Don’t waste your money or time handle doesn’t tighten up on cam correctly. Handle wiggles loose and then det screw strips out.

Garbage, plastic, not Brushed Nickel and it does not fit correctly. Spend the dollars and buy the real thing. Worth the extra cost.

I just bought this item from Home Depot and had the exact same issue as above in regards to the handle. The handle wouldn’t tighten and now the screw is stripped. So I have a loose handle and a screw that I can neither tighten nor remove. Not very happy.

I tried it on two different showers and the face place will not come close to sealing against the shower wall. Would allow water in behind the shower wall. The way it’s packaged I had to tear apart the packaging, is it returnable to Lowe’s without original packaging?

Product was not usable because it will not fit tightly against the shower wall. There’s about a 3/8″ gap which would allow water behind the shower wall. Because of the way it’s packaged, once opened it cannot be repackaged for return.

Just installed today, product work great. I think some of the negative reviews had to do with installation errors.

I’m having the same issue as so many others. Installed the nickel handle with no issues. Looked good and seemed to work well. Went back a little later to take a shower and the handle felt loose. The weight of it seems to make it fall to the middle setting. It won’t stay o...Read More

Andrew said this product worked with his leaky water valve? Lol I’m no plumber but I don’t think a trim kit can fix a leaky valve. Anyways I bought this product and I have a lot of concerns with it. I do not like how the faceplate gasket is not tight to the wall and the ch...Read More

Bought the Universal Kit 10008 Brushed Nickle, now apparently 10002, from Home Depot in February. Now the plating is coming off the handle by the set screw. Can not find a replacement without buying a whole Kit

I am bummed that the plate is plastic, but at least it had the smaller flange with the holes at 2 and 7 which actually fit, but I had the same problem with the handle it won’t fit tight to pull out the cartridge to start water flow. The only reason I bought it was to get...Read More

I knew what I was getting and am happy with it. Good color (brushed nickel) match, and good fit and seal against the wall. Only concern is how long the part that takes the stem screw then accepts the metal handle will last. I would have preferred that the metal handle have a h...Read More

I purchased this to install in my new tub/shower. The brushed nickel pieces were plastic and a bit flimsy. I was half way through the install and realized the smaller faceplate that I needed was not included with the kit. I had to take it apart and returned the kit.

The finish on the handle is pealing off “corrosion”where the set screw is. I have two handles one for a rain fall overhead and one for a regular wall shower, both are corroding in the same place.
