It looks nice, but the one I got does not stop the tub from draining. The package for the unit was new, never opened, and not complete. On the back of the package it says there are 2 gaskets, 2 threaded studs, stopper and it’s top, and a star washer. There is only 1 GASK...Read MoreET. I had to call customer service at Danco. Randy, of customer service, was very nice, took my information, and said he will send me the 2 needed gaskets. I will wait for the new gaskets and give it another try. My earlier review should have said that Lowe’s or Danco should not sell something that is not complete and does not work. This stopper does not call for installation by a professional plumber but installation by the normal home owner.
It just twists apart when screwing it in. There is no diagram to put it back together. Happened twice in a row, never buying Danco again. So frustrated.

Lost my 3/8” threaded stud down the drain when it came unscrewed off the stopper and still set in the drain. Went to 2 hardware stores and nobody sells just that piece so had to buy a new stopper after only a couple months. . Waste of my money. All other stoppers I have pu...Read Morerchased stud was already mounted in the stopper and had to be replaced for gasket after a few years
After several times using the Tub Drainer Stopper, the thread stud went down the drain after coming loose. How do I get a replacement small stud replacement – 5/16? Thanks.

At closing, the stopper is not flat/flush with bottom of bath tub. The stopper protrudes from the bottom of bath tub. Is this suppose to be so? The black rubber sealing ring seems to slow (not stop) water going down the drain because its diameter is too small.
