This Danco Aerator Adapter is versatile as it offers 3 different connections. The adapter connects a female garden hose or male aerator to a female faucet. This adapter will also connect a male aerator to a female faucet as well as connects a female aerator to a male faucet.
Fun Fact: Aerators limit water flow through the faucet allowing water use to be reduced compared to the same time flow without an aerator. In the case of hot water, because less water is used, less heat energy is used.

This adapter is perfect for many aquariumists who use gravel cleaning systems like Python, because this is a direct fit adapter that connects the T-pump part to faucets that have 13/16-27M outlet. I specifically wanted a direct fit adapter for the T-pump because joining multiple adapters can be troublesome in my case as I need to use the gravel cleaning system with two sink faucets that each come with different thread.
The only downside of this adapter for those who use it with the T-pump gravel cleaner is the short length of the adapter due to which it may be difficult to disconnect it from either side of the assembly.
