Replacing your flex coupler keeps the exhaust pipe from vibrating, effectively prevent the disposal from being damaged. This garbage disposal flex coupler is for use with the InSinkErator Evolution Series garbage disposers. It mounts at the discharge of the disposer and is held to the disposer by a single screw (sold separately). The flex coupler is then connected to the tailpipe with a spring clamp (sold separately). The flexible and soft rubber provides good sealing between the disposer and the pipe. The coupling makes it easy to take out and to put in when necessary.
