Would not buy this product. Threaded adapter is too easy to mis-thread, and then the threads crush. Danco offers no adapters sold separately, so you are out of luck to makes second try with an cheap adapter… you have to return/replace. I will try again until I get it ...Read Moreright or the store stops taking my returns. The first spout I got came mis-threaded, probably from first guy that tried. Returned it, got a new one, and tried again. This time I misthreaded it. I call it a design weakness.

I bought this product in April 2018 and had the same experience as Kemp and Mike above. The 1/2″ adapter is still absolute junk. Please make a brass adapter charge and extra dollar or two.
