How to Change a Pullout Faucet Spray

How to Change a Pullout Faucet Spray

Step-by-step Instructions

With a replacement Pullout Faucet Spray, you can upgrade the look of your Kitchen Sink and save the extra money you would spend on a new faucet. Now, you just have to figure out how you are going to spend all that extra money in your pocket.

Tools and supplies required: Screwdriver, Adjustable Wrench, Pliers, Pipe Thread Tape

1

Turn off the water supply to the Sink before you begin making repairs. Disconnect the Hose by unscrewing the Threaded Connectors at the Spray Head.

2

If you are using an existing Hose, simply attach the new Spray Head by screwing into the Spray Nut.

If you are using a new Danco Hose, disconnect the old Hose at the Faucet Connection and discard. Select the Adapter, Washer and Seals that fit your Faucet. Slip the new Hose through the Nut, with the large part of the Nut facing the Spray Head for decorative purposes. Then, take the replacement Hose, slip it into and through the body of the Faucet until you see it underneath the Sink. Put the Washers on the Adapters; they just sit on top. Connect the Hose to the Faucet Connection under the Sink first before connecting the Spray Head. Handtighten all connections.

3

Turn the water supply back on and inspect for leaks.
