How To Replace Sink Handles

Replacing old sink handles can actually result in a major overall of the look of your kitchen. And it's fast and simple. So get ready for a fashion makeover for the kitchen, all with your own two hands.

Tools and Supplies Required: Flathead Screwdriver, Phillips Screwdriver
Step 1

Remove the Handle Button by prying it off with a Flathead Screwdriver. Remove the Handle’s Set Screw with a Phillips Screwdriver by turning in a counterclockwise direction to release the Handle.

Step 2

Remove the old Handle from the Stem by simply pulling the Handle away from the Faucet.

Step 3

Install the new Handle over the Stem. Reinstall the new Handle Set Screw and tighten with the Phillips Screwdriver.

Step 4

Install the new Handle Button by snapping into the Handle until it clicks.

Test handle to ensure it functions properly.
